Bielefeld, December 2025 – Qualimero has reached the Top 10 of the prestigious OUT OF THE BOX.NRW Award 2025. The competition is considered the most significant recognition for innovative tech startups from North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
About the OUT OF THE BOX.NRW Award
The OOTB.NRW Award is initiated by the NRW Ministry of Economic Affairs, sponsored by NRW.BANK, and hosted by Founders Foundation gGmbH. The competition awards the most innovative tech startups in the region with a total of €50,000 in prize money and offers finalists high visibility and valuable networking opportunities.
The Path to the Top 10
The selection process comprised multiple stages: After a VC-led pre-selection, 25 startups qualified for the community voting phase. Qualimero prevailed in both the public vote and expert evaluation, reaching the Top 10 – and thus the live pitch finale at the Hinterland of Things conference in Bielefeld.
